Garden Lullaby - 40"x40" Original Mixed Media Painting

Inspiration: The title piece for my "Garden Lullaby" collection. Inspired by my my faith and the bible verse "And if God cares so wonderfully for the flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you..." Matthew 6:30. This piece is the combination of several subjects and styles I love. The birds are finding a place to land and rest among in the sweet field of flowers. And God cares so wonderfully for all of them.  You'll see the detail of the word "Lullaby" in one of the flower petals and snippets of other bible verses, songs and hymns throughout this piece.
 
Details: This is an original mixed media painting on a 2.5" deep cradled birchwood panel. I use a mixture of materials and acrylic paint to complete each piece. The edges are painted black and will arrive ready to hang. The painting is signed by Kendra Runnels and has the title and year completed on the back.
 
These pieces are meant to beautify your space and be a whisper of hope.
