Inspiration: Part of my new "Garden Lullaby" collection. Inspired by my my faith and the bible verse "And if God cares so wonderfully for the flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you..." Matthew 6:30. Blue poppies are a beautiful wildflower and I wanted to create a vibrant, yet soothing soft blue and green color palette with these flowers. This piece looks great paired with "Field of Poppies #2".
Details: This is an original mixed media painting on a 1.5" deep cradled birchwood panel. I use a mixture of materials and acrylic paint to complete each piece. The edges are painted black and will arrive ready to hang. The painting is signed by Kendra Runnels and has the title and year completed on the back.
