Details: From my "Birds of the Air" series. This piece is inspired by my faith and love of nature. This is an original mixed media painting on a 1.5" deep cradled birchwood panel. Created with a combination of pages from old books, texture and acrylic paint. The details in the birds chest come from various recycled books, pages of text that includes the bible verses Matthew 6:26 and Psalm 104. "...beside them the birds of the heavens dwell, they sing among the branches."
The 1.5" deep edges are painted black and this piece will arrive ready to hang.

Each order is shipped out of Kendra Runnels' studio in Augusta, Georgia. You can expect original pieces and small paper prints (15x20 and smaller) to ship within 3-5 business days of the purchase date. For framed pieces, canvas giclee's and paper prints larger than 15"x20" please allow 2-3 weeks before shipping.
