First Butterfly of Spring - 30"x40" Original Mixed Media Painting

Inspiration: Part of my new "Garden Lullaby" collection. Inspired by my my faith and the bible verse "And if God cares so wonderfully for the flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you..." Matthew 6:30. This piece is inspired by all of the things that "Awaken" or come to life in the spring, particularly flowers and butterflies. There is a small snippet on one of the flowers with the phrase "First butterfly of spring". There are so many details and little whispers of hope in this piece.
Details: This is an original mixed media painting on a 1.5" deep cradled birchwood panel. I use a mixture of materials and acrylic paint to complete each piece. The edges are painted black and will arrive ready to hang. The painting is signed by Kendra Runnels and has the title and year completed on the back.
These pieces are meant to beautify your space and be a whisper of hope.

Each order is shipped out of Kendra Runnels' studio in Augusta, Georgia. You can expect original pieces and small paper prints (15x20 and smaller) to ship within 3-5 business days of the purchase date. For framed pieces, canvas giclee's and paper prints larger than 15"x20" please allow 2-3 weeks before shipping.
